The Lakeland Roman Catholic Separate School District No. 150 is located about 250 kilometers from Edmonton.
The three urban communities in the jurisdiction are: Bonnyville, Cold Lake and Waskatenau. Within these communities, the district operates seven schools: Three in Bonnyville, three in Cold Lake and one in Waskatenau. Unique to Alberta, the Lakeland Catholic School District boasts of offering educational services to the children in Bonnyville and Cold Lake in English and French Immersion (Kindergarten to Grade 12).
